ZebGames suffered a catastrophic data loss.

We attempted to restore using our daily backup, but the backups were apparently truncated each time and thus corrupted. Next we contacted the developer of our billing system to attempt a partial restore from the corrupted backups, but they were unable to restore usable data.

Unfortunately, this has effectively put ZebGames out of business. We have kept the services online for the past month and a half without billing clients while attempting to get everything restored, hoping we could at least send an email to our client list about the issue.

We are very sadden by this issue and that we were not able to correct the problem or contact our customers to let them know about the issue. Our email database was also lost in the same data loss.

It was a great 8 years and we appreciated all of you. We hope you find a wonderful new hosting provider and wish you all the best.

For Ventrilo Clients:
We used a reseller since Ventrilo had stopped issuing licenses to new sellers. The company we used for Ventrilo was recently bought out by http://www.instantventrilo.com/and apparently they will be moving current Ventrilo servers on HurricaneHost machines in March so your server address would change at that point, but we wanted to give you this information so you can contact them directly if you want to keep your service through them. Below is the response we have received from Instant Ventrilo.

As well note we would be willing to offer your customers 30 days or free service if they contact us. We will be required to migrate their services directly to our LightSpeed platform they would not be able to keep the same ip address. Tell them to refer to their existing username, ip address and port when contacting our support teams and we'll take care of them. For TeamSpeak and Game Server Clients:
We hosted TeamSpeak and Game Servers on our own machines so there is no way you can keep your current address.
